About IPI
IPI Engineering was founded six years ago with a narrow focus on optimisation. We were good at it, and word spread. Over time, clients began bringing us the work that didn't have an obvious answer — the mechanical reworks, the integrity questions, the shutdowns that needed a fresh perspective.
Today we're a tightly held group of senior engineers. We've kept the team small on purpose — it's how we protect the depth of experience our clients come to us for, and it's why a senior engineer is involved in every job from first call to final signoff.
One Team, Many Sites
When you engage IPI, you don't simply get the capability of our people on your site. You get the combined capability and experience of every member of our team — whether they're supporting an iron ore port in the Pilbara, a gold and copper mine in Kalgoorlie, a coal operation in Queensland, or developing industry-leading innovations at IPI's prototyping and training facility in Victoria.
That cross-pollination across commodities ensures our clients are afforded access to a very deep pool of diverse ideas — a wider bench than the headcount on any single site would suggest.
How We Operate
Our roots in optimisation taught us to understand the asset first — and propose work only when we're sure it's the right work.
Every engagement is owned by a senior engineer end-to-end. No handoffs, no graduates left to interpret a brief.
From the Pilbara to Gippsland we travel to site. The best decisions are made standing next to the asset, not on a video call.
